Hi, I’m Christopher Hinton and I’ve been personally training clients as a passion project for over 20 years!  The science of training has always been an area of keen interest for me ever since I was a teenager.  I read all the Muscle and Fitness magazines for years and bought dozens of books, always on the perpetual search for new insights, novel ideas, and uncovering the latest proven models of training.

In the early 2000’s, I decided I wanted to help overweight women lose weight and become stronger and healthier.   I eventually landed on a business model that I felt was more or less perfect for this goal:  I opened up a franchise gym called “L.A. Boxing”.  Later this franchise turned into UFC GYM.

I found out just how awesome a heavy bag training regimen was for losing weight and building fitness.  Gym members started having great results in losing weight and feeling better about themselves.  I operated the gym for a few years before selling it to another franchisee who wanted to acquire our territory.  But I left the business convinced that training on the heavy bag was a super training modality, and likely the “biggest bang for the buck” that you could do exercise-wise, so I continued my training at home and set out to create my own workout structure to mirror a group class.

I won’t go into the details of this journey, but let’s just say I ended up creating the world’s best heavy bag training system.  It took a long time, a lot of research and experimentation, and a lot of refining, revision, and perfecting.  I learned what worked and what didn’t work, and why.  I don’t feel that anyone really discovered these key truths and principles about the psychology about exercise that I had.  That was the magic behind the system, and it still stands to this day.  I was sponsored by one of the largest fight sports gear companies in the world (Ringside Boxing and Combat Sports) and got all my training gear, apparel, etc. sent to me free.

Now this system is used by other Certified Personal Trainers to train their clients.   And along the way my goals changed.  I didn’t only want to train on my kickboxing system, I also wanted to do some weight training because I was trying to gain weight.  Weight training was already my forte because of my past experience and education on the subject.  So I would train some days on the kickboxing system, and some days on a weight regimen.

I never imagined that I would be at the start of creating another training system, but that’s what happened.  I found myself constantly working on a philosophy of training and a system that I felt would avoid all the negatives and weaknesses of the current training protocols out there, and try… once again… to create what I felt was the best training system on the planet.  When I say “best”, I mean “best for me”.  It’s not what is best for every single exerciser out there.  People have different needs, different goals, and different environments.   However, I know there are a lot of people out there who are enough like me that my system can be a huge benefit to.

So I’m making my system available to those whom it might help.  I’m making myself available to ensure your success when using it.  That is what this site is about.  And if you choose to work with me, I hope to change your life.  Whether it’s in a big way or a small way, I hope to be the catalyst of positive change for you.  Exercise is THE most important change that you may institute in your life.  Building a simple base-layer of strength can be the greatest investment in yourself you’ve ever done.  Especially when I have made it so easy and take such little time.
