Recommended equipment:
Dumbbells (you find a great deal on dumbbells when they’re about $1/lb, so aim for that.) The first sets you should get should be 15 lb, 25 lb, 35 lb, but this of course depends on your starting strength level. You may want a 10 lb, for example.

Kettlebells: a suggestion would be two 18-lbs and one 35-lb. These are not essentials, so just pick them up when it suits your budget.

Plyo Ball – meh. If you end up getting one, fine; if you don’t, not a big deal.
Bands: very limited exercises these are good for, but if you need to go this route, here’s a link
Weight Bench: my system is designed to not “need” a bench. But having one can give you some variety. This is the one I bought after doing my best research.
TRX or Olympic Rings: highly recommend you get some rings or anything strong with handles. It absolutely must be mounted high VERY securely. You do NOT want these things giving way. You can get seriously hurt. We use these for back exercises. You’ll see a million exercises you can do with TRX… I recommend almost none of them. They’re gimmicks. We just stick with a very small selected set of exercises from these.
Dip stand: let’s face it, it’s hard to get a good dip stand w/o spending a ton of cash. The one below is what I bought after hours and hours of reading reviews. It is not high quality, but it’s good enough, especially considering the super low price.

Yoga mats: used for all floor exercises. I have no particular recommendation on which one.
Foam flooring: this takes the place of a yoga mat, and gives you more room. You’ll use this for any exercises that have you on the floor. It’s hard to recommend a brand, and so you always roll the dice on getting quality. Recommend reading the reviews carefully. I bought mine in a store somewhere when they were on sale. You’ll want 24sqft (4’x6′). If you have room, you may want 2 sets.
Push up handles sometimes being on the floor can hurt your wrists. If you have that problem, you may want push up handles to keep your wrists straight. I have these, they are adequate, but still feel a little “not sturdy”. But they haven’t failed me yet.
